Guide to Body Contouring Equipment

There are now many new entrants into the Body Contouring equipment realm. PSP magazine has many of the them compiled in the following online report: Body Contouring: The Major Players. Here you will see CoolTouch CTEV, Cynosure SmartLipo, Mentor UltraSculpt, Sound Surgical Technologies Vaser, and Thermage ThermaCoolNXT.

Missing from the report is the new Palomar SlimLipo, Syneron’s VelaShape and LipoLite, and Eleme Medical SmoothShapes.

There are more equipment choices coming soon. Currently waiting for FDA approval are: Ultrashape Contour, Medicis’ Liposonix, and Sciton’s ProLipo .
