Loved or, on the contrary, ridiculed Botox injections were the best alternative for those whose who wanted to restore the youth of their skin without going under the knife in the name of beauty. IAPAM confirms that Botox ® Training Remains Strong Despite Economy
October 26, 2011
The IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums trains physicians on how to safely, profitably and successfully add botox ®, hCG medical weight loss, and other aesthetic modalities (lasers for skin rejuvenation, microdermabrasion and medical-grade chemical peels) to an existing medical practice, or to launch a medical spa. The IAPAM helps physicians enter this lucrative market by offering the industry’s best botox ® training and hCG training in sunny Scottsdale, AZ. To date, all of the 2011 IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposium events have sold out.
The IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposium (http://www.aestheticmedicinesymposium.com) has long offered physicians a competitive advantage through its comprehensive, hands-on, “immersion” into the field of aesthetic medicine. The IAPAM’s (http://www.iapam.com) Symposium is the only program which gives physicians an opportunity to learn from two board-certified dermatologists, who are true experts of the skin and cosmetic injectables. In order to ensure doctors learn the best injection techniques, the botox ® training is done in a medical practice, not in a hotel room chair. In addition, the Symposium does not allow exhibitors, giving physicians more time for education.
Physicians who attend the IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposium can revisit their educational experience by using the IAPAM’s NEW 3 comprehensive clinical training DVDs. This DVD set offers focused instruction and demonstrations on Botulinum Toxin (Botox ®) Injection Techniques, Dermal Filler Injection Techniques, Chemical Peel Techniques, and Microdermabrasion Techniques. IAPAM Offers Physicians the Best Botox ® and Other Injectables Education
October 19, 2011
Yes, it is hard to believe, but there advertisements for “FDA approved Botox ® at $20 for a 100iu vial.” However, the IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposium with Botox ® and Dermal Filler Training provides physicians with all the resources, information and tools to effectively and safely deliver minimally invasive treatments to their patients, including training on how to safely and properly source Botox ®, dermal fillers and other cosmetic injectable products.
Botox buyer beware
Recently, there have a rash of direct mail campaigns for Botox ® from countries like China and India. One recent promotion offered 100iu vials of Botox for $20 USD and 1ml of hyaluronic acid filler for $30 USD. Moreover, the manufacturers claimed that their “products have gotten the approval of FDA.” The IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposium with Botox Training (http://www.aestheticmedicinesymposium.com/botoxtraining) educates physicians on how to identify such schemes. The IAPAM (http://www.iapam.com) teaches that “botox-like” injectables should never be purchased through the internet. The red-flags associated with internet offerings range from unrealistically low pricing to a lack of knowledge regarding the potential side affects that can accompany the administration of a neurotoxin into the body. Also, it’s important to ensure the vial being used is not counterfeit; look for the 3-d hologram to ensure its is the FDA approved product,” says IAPAM executive-director, Jeff Russell. Read more
